Returns & Refunds

At Raising Aidan, we pour love and purpose into everything we make. From cupcake mixes to bath bombs, each item helps fund Aidan’s therapy and future, but we also care deeply about your satisfaction. We understand that sometimes things go wrong, so here’s how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds fairly and transparently.

1. Damaged or Defective Products

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at sales@raisingaidan.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A clear photo of the issue
  • A short description of the problem
  • We’ll offer one of the following, depending on the situation:
  • A replacement of the same item (if available)
  • A store credit or refund for the affected product
  • We may ask that the item be returned before a refund or replacement is issued.
  • We cover all return courier costs for defective or incorrect items.

2. Exchanges

Because our products are handmade and produced in small batches, exchanges are limited.

We can only offer exchanges if:

  • The wrong item was sent in error, or
  • You received a defective product and prefer an exchange instead of a refund
  • Exchanges must be arranged within 7 days of receiving your order.

3. Change of Mind or Incorrect Order

We are unable to accept returns for:

  • Opened or used food and personal care items (for hygiene and safety reasons)
  • Digital downloads (once purchased and delivered)
  • Items bought through fundraising bundles or promotions
  • If your item is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery.
    Return courier costs will be your responsibility, and a store credit will be issued once we receive and inspect the returned product.

4. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after we receive your returned item or approve your request.

  • Refunds are made via the same payment method used for the original purchase (Yoco or EFT).
  • Please note that bank processing times may vary slightly depending on your institution.

6. Digital Downloads

All sensory recipe files and parenting resources are delivered instantly via download link after purchase.

  • Because digital files cannot be “returned,” no refunds or exchanges are available once your file has been accessed or downloaded.
  • If you experience technical issues (e.g., download link not working), please email us within 48 hours, and we’ll resend your files.

7. Missing Orders or Courier Issues

If your parcel hasn’t arrived within 10 business days after dispatch, please contact us.
We’ll follow up with the courier and keep you informed every step of the way.

  • While we can’t control courier delays or theft once a parcel is marked as “delivered,” we’ll always do our best to assist with claims or replacements when possible.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the site after such changes means you accept the revised terms.
